Writers Love Words🤔Obsess Much?
We paint with words.🎨 If you are a writer, words are your BUDDIES! 😘
I personally, LOVE LOVE LOVE WORDS!🙏 May you do also!
I began this quest to write about words when I was commenting.
I said the story was “AWESOME.” It was action-packed with AWE! I love the word awesome because basically, the piece was full of AWE!
Once upon a time, an editor corrected me on Medium. — (Way long ago.)
I had used the word “Awe.” —It was wrong so I changed it to “Aww.” — Since then I am afraid to use AWE or AWW! — Today’s the day!
Aw vs Awe…Yes, it was long ago, but today I know for sure!
Aw — is an interjection used when someone thinks that they. it, he or she is adorable, or when he or she is disappointed. Some dictionaries list a variant spelling if aww, but this is vastly less popular than the one w spelling.
Awe — is a noun for the feeling of wonderment after seeing something spectacular. One can also be in awe if he or she is afraid of someone or respects someone greatly. As a verb, it means to cause someone else to be in awe.
