As kids we are asked, what do you want to be when you grow up?
The options had just instantly changed for so many young people in 2009.
As a little girl with red hair, I would tell grownups, “I want to be a millionaire or president” …OK, I was young.
We have yet to elect a woman president, but with Obama as President, our country had just grown up a little.
It was like the USA had been crawling, and just stood up tall and walked. It was a huge step. — This was the big day! It was just amazing. The below video still gives me chills.
