The ABCs of Writing for me.

I had never heard of Medium until January of 2021. My son was writing here and I joined so I could read his stuff. I coughed up the big $5 to support him. I never thought of writing myself.

At first, I only read my son’s stuff. He is brilliant, but then, I am his mom after all.

Soon I started to wander around on Medium and read other people’s stuff. The first story I read was by Ruby Lee. I had no idea what Medium was about, but I followed her.

Then my son wrote an article about his Medium earnings. I had no idea what people made on Medium. I spoke to him about it and suggested that I write.

Then the “But Game” began. My mind went all over the place. but what would I write about? Who would read it? On and on it went.

So today I decided to write My ABCs of writing for fun.

A while ago, I thought about writing.
But I was chicken. Fear of failure reared its wicked head.
