Remember Super Size Me?
The dude in the video, David Spurlock, was also the creator and director.
Some folks watched this film and said to themselves, “Oh hell yeah. That’s what I’m talkin’ bout! For some maybe it was, GROSS,OMG so unhealthy!
David gained 24.5 pounds while on the Super Size diet. That diet was an experiment in fast food.
On Day 21, Spurlock was experiencing heart palpitations. Dr. Daryl Isaacs, his internist, advised him to stop the Super Size Me diet immediately or what he was doing may cause serious health problems.
It took Spurlock fourteen months to lose all the weight gained from his experiment using a vegan diet.
His experiment was him attempting to subsist uniquely on food from the McDonald’s menu for an entire month.
He also did “Super Size Me 2, Holy Chicken”.
But it finally caught up with him.
He started filming Swanson Hungry Man food products and died on the fourth day of shooting.
While a doctor monitored his health closely, he sadly died. In his new movie, he was eating only tv dinners. His weight had ballooned, his energy level plummeted and he experienced all sorts of unexpected side effects.
