Living in Orlando, that day was a nightmare! So much beauty is gone.

I was living 38 miles from the club.

Every single time I drive past the club, I feel sad!

Seven years ago, I was completely in shock and devastated!

Yesterday was the 7-year anniversary. β€” I wanted to write about it yesterday, but I just couldn’t. β€” Even now, it’s hard to write this.

It was the local news all day yesterday.

Just remembering it, brought back so much sadness. Even now, I am forcing myself to write this! β€” So it will be brief.

The Pulse nightclub shooting was a tragedy that claimed the lives of 49 people. β€” Pure insanity!

On June 12, 2016, 49 people were killed and 53 were injured in a mass shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The shooter, Omar Mateen, was a 29-year-old American-born Muslim who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) during a 3-hour standoff with police. The shooter was eventually killed by police.
