Don’t get me wrong. Plastic surgery does save lives.

Maybe a kid is born with a cleft palate and has a better life because of plastic surgery.

What is Cleft Palate?

The roof of the mouth (palate) is formed between the sixth and ninth weeks of pregnancy. A cleft palate happens if the tissue that makes up the roof of the mouth does not join together completely during pregnancy. For some babies, both the front and back parts of the palate are open.

I knew a burn victim who had surgery that saved his life.

The plastic surgeon put pigskin on the burns. Many grafts later he was back to normal life.

People who lose a great amount of weight have the excess skin that is heavy and saggy taken off, for them it is a blessing with plastic surgery.

For transgender people, it is life-saving. It assists them in becoming their true selves.

But there is a flip side. First of all, to be fair, I got a boob job. Living L.A. I got sucked into the vortex. I was pursuing an acting career, so…
