Most people love animals. Both vegetarians and meat-eaters.
I mean, look at that cute pig face.
In some countries, it is common to eat dog or cat meat for dinner
Taiwan has banned the selling and eating of cats and dogs because of cruelty. Finally, the outrage caused the ban.
There are still places where it is common to eat cats and dogs.
As for cows, chickens, pigs, duck, etc… I don't think I could kill them and eat them.
I prefer what I call “mystery meat”. The stuff you buy in the grocery store. No faces, ears, feet, and stuff. I mean yuck. I just want steak or ham.
Pretty naive, right?
Stopping eating meat for many is impossible. I mean, no more KFC?
It would be a real commitment. I don’t eat much meat. Can there be a happy medium?
Why do people go vegetarian?
Sometimes it’s parental preferences, religious or other beliefs, and health issues are among the most common reasons for choosing to be a vegetarian.
I mean, face it, animal fat can be unhealthy.
Many people choose a vegetarian diet out of concern over animal rights or the environment.
