As Ferris said, Life moves pretty fast! So now he is 60 and I am 63! ✌ Yay US! 👬🏻 We’re still kids! 🤜(It’s TRUE! 60 is the new 20!)🤛
Matthew was 23 when he made Ferris Bueller's Day Off!
Yes, what cool dude to win the role of the charming, clever slacker in the 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Matthew got $11,000 for playing the role of Ferris.
Matthew initially took up acting at New York’s, Walden High School.
He wanted to be an athlete (football and soccer) but because of a knee injury. His father got him his stage debut at age 17 in a workshop production of the play “On Valentine’s Day”.
I have watched this movie way too many times to count!
At the age of 23, Broderick played the titular high school student who, with his girlfriend and best friend, plays hooky and explores Chicago.
