I totally understand the feeling of secuity when someone goes through hunger. My friend was 85 and lived alone, but had 2 fefrigerators in he kitchen fully stocks and 3 huge freezers in her shed filled with meat. She probably weighed 95 pounds. She grew up during the depression. PTSD most likey!
