I Shot A TV 🎬 Promo Pilot For Fun!
It was called, Crime Scene TV. Very low budget! It came out kinda cool.
I met a guy named Jack. He was a friend of a friend.
Jack is a money-raising guy. He is a fast-talking and possibly shady dude like some money-raising folks are. (I once met a money-raising cat named “Rich Man” who eventually went to prison. 😈He was a scammer.)
So Jack is kinda froggy, but I listened to his pitch.
He had a vision for a TV show. It was a reality show where regular people get a chance to be a detective. His vision was to have 2 teams who compete for a cash prize.
He had $5,000 to spend on a TV show promo.
Jack left it completely in my hands to create this sales promo. I had a budget and a concept 🏃🏼 so I was off and running.
So how did I spend the money?
The money would pay for a cast, video camera gear and which I owned, props, and wardrobe, and my home was the location. The actors were friends mostly who got $200 for a day of work.
I found cops creatively.
The 2 fake cops were Aldi grocery store security guards who came in their fake…
