Healthy can be easy, for a wannabe vegetarian…or anyone! πŸ₯‘πŸ“πŸ₯’πŸ‰πŸ₯¦

Fresh fruits and veggies a both yummy and healthy!

But they can spoil. There is nothing worse than throwing away food! So, let’s try not to, OK?

Let’s start with bananas.

These sweet babies can go bad quickly! Maybe you have put them in the trash too many times.. but if you put them in the fridge, they turn brown outside, but that’s just the peel. Peel the banana and inside it will be wonderful.

🍌Bananas, in the fridge 101…

Keep them cool and protected from the light: Bananas should be stored at around 12Β°C, as they will ripen quicker if they are too warm. Pop them into the fridge: If you want to store your bananas correctly, you can certainly store them in the fridge.

You can freeze bananas. I love them in smoothies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO FREEZE BANANAS….Since you’ll be using frozen bananas in their natural state, I recommend freezing ones that are ripe, even to the point where they are just starting to turn brown β€” they’re naturally sweeter that way!
