Will electric cars take over gas cars soon? — Yep! — Soon! — 2030i?

S&P Global Mobility S&P Global forecasts electric vehicle sales & we could reach 40 percent of total passenger car sales by 2030, and more optimistic projections foresee electric vehicle sales surpassing 50 percent by 2030 in the USA.

Last year, Norway had the highest number of EV sales per capita, with 20 cars purchased for every 1,000 people, accounting for 65% of all cars.

It is predicted that gas cars are gonna start disappearing in 2035.

Owners of cars that use gas engines will still be permitted to operate or resell them after 2035.

The average lifespan of a car in the U.S. is about 12 years, there will be a need for gasoline for decades to come.
