Fitness Time! The 2022 Commitment.
Getting a late start. It’s February. Time to get off my ass. LITERALLY.
Maybe it’s Ok that we get a late start. Research shows 80% of people abandon their New Year’s resolutions by February.
For those of you that don’t know I had a stroke.
I got distracted by this thing called Medium. So time to get busy. My goal for 2022 is to run, but first I need to walk. Also to be able to get out of the tub.
My brain is healing slowly. My speech is pretty rough but step #1 is walking.
I shot a quick video to report in. I gave hair and makeup the night off so it ain't fancy, and used my crummy computer camera, but I don’t care.
I don’t really practice my speech much, but when I can walk I will get out more and talk to people more. (The part of my brain that thinks and writes is great! The part that controls my speech, well, not so much.)
I only left the house 3 times in 2021, so I’m motivated to get back in the world.
