Pop artist Andy Warhol’s image of Marilyn Monroe, one of his best-known portraits, has smashed records after selling for $195m in New York in less than four minutes of bidding in May of 2022.
Much about Warhol’s sexuality — and personal life, in general — was kept very private from the public eye.
This introvert did proclaim homosexuality in many interviews, he wasn’t shy about talking about his own virginity.
