Crap happens in life that is hard. There are challenges. But if things were always perfect, maybe we would not grow.
I mean, when you run into an obstacle, that is when you learn.
Kids donβt want the bottle to be taken away.
They may cry really hard. Throw a fit. Have a full-blown tantrum. Scream at the top of their lungs. But soon, a cup is perfect.
School may be scary the first day, but you learn about friends and connecting.
When I took my first son to preschool he sobbed. Begging and pleading not to leave him there. The staff assured me it would be ok. So I walked to my car and drove to work.
After I got off work, I went to pick him up.
He threw a fit because he wanted to stay.
Life for us grown-ups is not very different. We get into a comfortable place, and even if it is not healthy we keep doing it.
We ignore the red flags. I was driven and nice. I made crazy good money, and finally asked myself, βWhy canβt I meet a guy with a car?β
I always bought them a car.
So life goes on.
I had a stroke, so my boyfriend is my caregiver now.
Super nice guy! (Also schizophrenic) We are so cute.
Matt is twenty years younger than me.
But we have fun.
LIFE HAS UPS AND DOWNS for every human.
I think we are here to learn. We are on the ride. Wear a mask and just be kind.
