Adventures with a horse named Ginger

She was a Palamino horse, which means she was blonde.

Is it true blondes have more fun?

We had a blast!

We live in California, In a town called Malibu. At the time the population of horses was more than the population of people in Malibu.

Even our local grocery store had a hitching post, so you park your horse there while you want shopping.

I had been obsessed with horses my whole life.

I rode horses and even helped people who had naughty or wild horses.

I was helping a girl with her wild mustang when out of the blue she pulled out a bedsheet for some reason. I was in the ring with the horse when the wind caught the sheet, and I heard a loud crack!

I heard the crack and saw the rear up. The next thing I was pulling myself out of the dirt and there was blood everywhere. the horse had kicked me in the face.

A neighbor came running, grabbed the sheet, put it on my face, and drove me home.

My mom took me to the emergency room which was a small trailer, where they scrubbed out the dirt and sewed me up. The horse's hoof had scraped the skin off most of the skin on the right side of my face. 2 black eyes and a huge swollen face, I was a mess.
