How Medium Partner Program works

The Medium partner program was designed to help writers get paid for writing online.

Medium partner earnings are calculated based on two components:

1. How much time paid Medium users actually spend on reading your stories.
2. How much of their monthly reading time is spent on your stories.

So you are helping the writer by reading, but clapping and running are kinda not as good. We get paid for “Read Ratio” or “Read Time.”
